A residential development in the historical area of Ancoats, Manchester. The site is ideally located on the boundary of the traditional city centre and the beginnings of a new city centre neighbourhood and acts as a gateway in the public realm, especially with much development occurring in the surrounding area.
The scheme is located on a site which aims to satisfy both historic and modern conditions. Its primary aim is to relate and enhance the historic urban environment within the Ancoats Conservation Area.
The design sees 143 mixed apartments built over two blocks with commercial space at ground floor. All apartments have floor-to-floor glazing to allow uninterrupted natural light into all rooms and will adhere to the London Design Guide Space Standards.
